What IS this site all about??
VoteRave.com is a fun, easy (and free) place for people to
vote and voice their opinions on a wide variety of topics.
We ask the questions that people (namely us)
are truly curious about, not questions that corporations, marketing firms,
or political interest groups tell us to ask.
How do you pick your poll questions?
For the most part we come up with our poll questions on our own. As we
state elsewhere on this site, we pick the questions that WE are genuinely
most curious about and want to hear people's views on.
We also invite our site visitors to submit questions THEY are curious about,
which they
can do via our
"Contact Us" page.
We collect or accept NO money for our question selections.
Do I have to register to vote (or submit a comment)?
No. We think that we get the best poll data, not to mention the maximum
amount of poll data, by making our polls immediately accessible
to everyone with no login or registration required.
How often can I vote in a poll? What prevents a person from
voting a zillion times in a poll?
For each poll, we allow only one vote per IP address.
Any additional attempts to vote from the same IP address are ignored.
Some of our polls are conducted over a limited time period
and then repeated so that we can capture any trends or changes in public
opinion. For these polls, we allow one vote per IP address
per duration period. When a new polling period starts, you can
vote again. The duration, start, and end times of these poll questions
are usually specified just below the "Vote" submission button.
